Colorado River/Lake Havasu

Exiting the Grand Canyon, the Colorado River first creates part of the border with Nevada, then turns south beyond Lake Mead. South of Bullhead City the lake forms the border with California. It is here that Lake Havasu and Lake Havasu City has created a name for itself with the importing and reassembly of the Old London Bridge. Famous as a party destination for spring break, the area has a charm of it's own separate from the tourist crowds.
